The Fun

Waupaca Chain O'Lakes offers so many fun activities - it's hard to have enough time to do them all.

We are less than five minutes walk to the Indian Crossing Casino (for music, a drink on the water or hotdogs at lunch - even sushi on Fridays!), The Wheelhouse Restaurant (yum...pizza!) and Scoopers (the biggest, most scrumptious ice cream cones EVER!)

Kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddle boarding are favorite quiet sports on the lakes.

The Chain Skiers put on a public ski show every Saturday night during the summer months. You can watch the show from the lakeside at the King Army Veteran's lawn, or from your own boat floating in the lake.

The "Chief Waupaca" paddle boat tours the lakes daily giving visitors a historic tour of the east end of the Chain O'Lakes.

Water skiing is allowed daily - ski hours on weekends are limited to 10am - 2:30 pm so that there are still hours of quiet boat traffic for all to enjoy.

The Tom Thumb Mini Golf course on Beasley Lake is open daily and offers 18 holes of pure old-time pleasure for kids and adults alike.

Swimming is a favorite activity on the lakes - the water is spring-fed and so clean you can see ten feet deep. You can swim from our boat or off one of three docks on the Wingspan point.

The Harbor Bar on Taylor Lake offers lakeside dining and drinking options - often with live music or beach volley ball games on site. Order a flight of local beers, or the delicious fish n chips. You can boat to the Harbor Bar and dock - or drive by car.

The Indian Crossing Casino is a dance hall from the 1920s that still hosts live bands on some weekends, and Teen Dance most Wednesdays through the summer.

A Waupaca outdoor gear rental shop, Adventure Outfitters will deliver rental bikes, boards, kayaks and waterskis right to your waterfront.
